Based on the SUBARU WRX STI, the S207 is a complete car that refines motion performance by meticulously pursuing the STI ideal of ‘a car which enhances the skill of driving’. Utilizing much know-how accumulated from competing in the Nürburgring 24-hour race, the ventilation resistance of the exhaust system has been greatly reduced and precise control of the ECU contributes to the best ever specs for an S-series vehicle; with a maximum output of 328PS/7200rpm and maximum torque of 44kgf・m/3200-4800rpm. For the first time among domestic manufacturers, the specially developed Bilstein variable damping force damper, ‘DampMatic II’, has been installed on the front suspension, which has succeeded in bringing handling stability and ride comfort to a higher dimension. In addition, many features suitable for complete cars with the ‘S’ symbol, which represents the pinnacle of STI high-performance cars, have been adopted in both the interior and exterior. As for the interior, the RECARO front bucket seats with high quality semi-aniline leather ensure support for the upper legs and securely hold the waist. As for the exterior, the STI large front under spoiler and rear bumper air outlet contribute to improved driving performance. Of the limited number of 400 units, 200 units have been designated as the ‘NBR CHALLENGE PACKAGE’, and contain ornaments of the Nürburgring 24-Hour race victory. Of these 200 units, 100 units are available in the exclusive Sunrise Yellow color.
