FLEXIBLE DRAW TOWER BAR LEGACY B4(BN)

This Flexible Tower Bar consists of pieces of a strut tower bar which link the left and right front suspension. In the center of the bar, these pieces are connected with a link ball for flexibility. As a result, this Flexible Tower Bar features both lateral rigidity against cornering G and flexibility to absorb any up-thrust from the road surface. In addition, a draw spring, which can apply tightening tension in advance between left and right strut towers, has newly been introduced. As a consequence, a targeted steering response with reduced dull play which breaks the rigid impression at the beginning of a turn can be obtained. This can allow for a smooth lane change where the direction of G suddenly changes and a smooth turn in a S-shaped curve.
