This is a performance-oriented muffler kit with reduced backpressure. Its airflow resistance is about 29% lower than that of a standard specification muffler.
Thorough backpressure and sound tuning provides responsiveness and a sporty yet relaxing sound suitable for the characteristics of the horizontally-opposed naturally aspirated engine.
The combination of a dual center type exhaust layout and dedicated garnish gives a sportier look to the exterior.
Tail pipe area: 70 mm diameter dual center outlet layout; engraved with the STI logo.
