A brake pad for the WRX STI (VA) D type, which has been upgraded with front 6 pot brakes and rear 2 pot brakes. When combined with the already available Brake Pad F (ST262964S081), this product will improve brake performance under various conditions from winding to urban roads.
With carbon ceramics as its main component, the pad affords an approximately 25% improvement in the coefficient of braking friction in the "fade zone" (high temperatures and high load). This pad has been tuned for the best balance between all the elements required for a good brake pad such as providing direct pedal touch, high brake controllability and excellent fade resistance.
In addition, as it forms a transfer film on the disk surface, which is a unique characteristic of carbon, the protective performance for the disks and pads will also improve.
The pad is equipped with an indicator for wear limit and is pre-chamfered.
